Return & Refund Policy

At Amanda Wathen Fine Art, every order is created and packed with care. We aim to provide clarity, transparency, and exceptional service from the moment you place your order. Please read below for important information on returns, exchanges, damaged items, and subscription cancellations.

Original Artwork

All sales of original paintings are final and non-refundable.

Prints

We want you to love your artwork! If you're unsatisfied, we do accept returns and exchanges on reproduction prints under the following conditions:

  • Return or Exchange Window: Contact us within 7 days of delivery to request a return or exchange. We cannot process returns after this period.

  • Restocking Fee: A 20% restocking fee will apply to all returned prints. This is because we print to order and do not keep inventory on hand.

  • Exchanges: You’re welcome to exchange your print for another design. The restocking fee for the original print will still apply.

Shipping & Packaging for Returns

  • Return items in their original packaging whenever possible. If the print arrived in a tube, both end caps must be included.

  • If the original packaging is not available, please purchase a stiff mailer or sturdy tube from your local post office.

  • Refunds and exchanges will be processed after we receive your returned item in good condition.

  • We cannot issue refunds for prints that arrive damaged due to improper packaging.

Damaged Orders

If your artwork arrives damaged, we’re happy to reprint and reship it at no cost to you. Please return the damaged print in secure packaging.

Lost, Stolen, or Undelivered Orders

  • If your package is marked as “Delivered” but is missing, first confirm your shipping address using your order confirmation email.

  • We cannot replace orders for free if the incorrect address was entered at checkout.

  • If your address was correct and the package is lost or stolen, please contact the shipping carrier (USPS or UPS) directly. We are unable to intervene in these cases.

  • If your package is returned to us due to an address issue, we’ll gladly reship it—you just cover the postage.

Color Concerns

Please carefully read product descriptions and check color tones across multiple devices. We do our best to accurately represent all artwork, but screens can vary. If the print doesn’t match your space as expected, you may request an exchange. The restocking fee still applies.

Cancellation & Subscription Policy

Some items in our shop may be offered as subscriptions or pre-orders.

Subscriptions

  • Subscriptions are billed on the schedule you select at checkout.

  • You may pause, skip, or cancel at any time by emailing amanda@amandawathen.com.

  • Subscriptions may auto-renew. If you’d like to opt out of renewal, let us know before your next billing date.

Pre-Orders

  • Pre-orders secure your item before it's officially in stock. You may be charged fully or partially at checkout, with the balance due upon shipment.

  • You may cancel a pre-order before it has shipped. Once shipped, the return policy applies.
